Rachel moved to Tucson in 2023 to pursue her PhD in Physiology at the University of Arizona, having earned her bachelor’s at Concordia University, Nebraska. She is a member of Cross and Crown Lutheran Church and has served with UA’s Graduate Christian Fellowship. Coming from a Protestant background, Via de Dios has deepened her appreciation for ancient church practices and traditions. Rachel enjoys reading, running, and playing guitar.
